How to Use Instagram to Get More Readers to Your Blog

Use Instagram to Get More Readers to Your Blog

Hi Kerbears,

Happy Tuesday beauties!

Do you have a blog? If so, are you struggling to get people to come and read your posts?

Are you constantly looking for new ways to learn how to use Instagram to get more readers to your blog? Look no further, this should help, Use Instagram to Get More Readers to Your Blog.

Here’s the thing, you have to get your audience intrigued with what you have to share with them. It is not enough to simply write a great post and then walk away from it expecting people to show up and read it. You have to promote your work. Below I’ve outlined 7 ways you can entice people to visit your blog and read your posts.

7 ways to get people to visit your blog

1.) Use the link section in your bio to post the link to your blog post. NOTE: Never post a long URL in your bio because it will make your page look spammy. Use a trusted URL shortener like bit.ly to customise your URL so you can tell your audience exactly what the link is about.

2.) Ask! I know this one seems simple enough but sometimes we are afraid to ask for what we want. I say, stop the madness. If you want your Instagram audience to go to your website, tell them. Humans are simple beasts. We need to be given directions so that we know what others want us to do.

3.) Share a snippet of what your blog is about. Tell your audience why they need to read your post. Outline some benefits. Humans are curious by nature so poke their curiosity a bit to get them to run to your website.

4.) Microblog valuable content on your Instagram account to let your audience see that you’re an expert in your field. Doing this will also show them that you have valuable information to share with them.

5.) If your followers ask you a question and you know you’ve already written a blog post about that topic, tell them to go check out that blog post by adding the link to the post in your comment.

6.) Share highly engaging videos on your Instagram stories to entice your followers to become interested in what you have to share.

7.) Use the right hashtags to attract your ideal customers (assuming you know who your ideal customers/audience is). If you don’t know and you’ve been struggling to figure this out, keep an eye out for my BRAND NEW Ideal Customer Profile Workbook. Once its launch you’ll be able to grab your own copy. It’s a super simple, easy to understand and in-depth workbook to help you create and find your ideal clients online.

As always, remember you are a bright light in this world. Go out and choose love over hate and shine your light as bright as you can in the world today and every other day.
