I’m going into my fourth year of practicing the healing art of Reiki and I’m still surprised when I ask people this question, “Hey, are you familiar with Reiki healing?” And the answer is pretty much always the same.
I often get “hmm … Yeah, but not really … can you tell me more about it?” Or they give me that skeptic side eye look followed with, “I don’t believe in that type of stuff!” It never fails. But, I try really hard not to judge.
The ones who have heard of Reiki and of distance reiki healing were somewhat unclear. So I decided to shine some light on it, to allow for more understanding.
So with that, I want to touch on what distance Reiki healing is and how it’s conducted.
Once you’ve had a chance to watch, please share your thoughts with me in the comments below.
You see, we are so conditioned to believe that we are flesh and bones with the purpose to attain stuff in order to be happy. That we miss out on the opportunity to tap into our own selves and use our naturally given energy to heal and make ourselves well again.
We’ve also been taught that when our bodies, minds and spirits/souls get into a sick state, we are to look everywhere except right where it really matters, which is within our own selves.
Healing beginnings in our minds first and foremost, which then branches out to the body and then into the world. This is why I am a strong believer in Reiki energy healing. If you heal yourself, then you are bound to heal the world.
